TEMPO Networks is seeking a great creative editor/camera person who is experienced with Final Cut Pro and After Effects. Responsibilities include shooting full episodes and promotions in our green screen studio as well as on location.  Also editing full episodes and promos together each week. Must be familiar with compression formats, DVD authorizing, green screen keying and broadcast quality settings.

This is a Freelance position that is available immediately.

Electronic Services Intern

TEMPO Networks, the Caribbean Television and Multimedia Network, is seeking an Electronic Services Intern to assist in maintaining its web site, digital video library, digital video publishing, and web analytics. Applicants enrolled in degree programs are eligible to receive course credit.

Primary responsibilities include:

• Updating the web site through our content management system in order to promote shows, alert fans of updated content, post ad banners and editorial content, etc.
• Digitizing and cataloging/tagging video assists in our media management system.
• Running reports on site traffic and providing textual analysis on a weekly basis in Google Analytics; monitoring the TEMPO web store.
• Managing our Youtube.com/gotTEMPO page: uploading videos, publishing them according to schedule, etc.
• Other duties pertaining to the library and TEMPO's electronic presence as required.

Familiarity with, but not expertise in, HTML is essential, as is comfort using a diverse suite of software on both Macs and PCs. This position is ideal for students seeking business experience in a small, fast-paced, growing international media corporation. Web Development / CMS Intern

TEMPO Networks, the Caribbean Television and Multimedia Network, is seeking a Web Development / CMS Intern to assist with its website, www.GotTEMPO.com. Applicants must be currently enrolled in a college degree program and eligible to earn internship credit. Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to: ensure consistency in site development, use our content management system (ModX), as well as to perform regular site updates.

This position will require comfort with XHTML and CSS, and some exposure to PHP and Javascript. Experience with other content management systems would also be extremely helpful.

Special projects would include formatting parts of the site for mobile and Google TV viewing, normalizing the site navigation, and perhaps developing web applications according to the intern’s interests and abilities. This is not a graphics design or content development position. The intern should expect to gain significant corporate experience in an international media company.

Caribbean Multimedia Cataloging Interns

TEMPO Networks, the Caribbean Television and Multimedia Network, is seeking Caribbean Multimedia Cataloging Interns in its mixed digital and tape library. Applicants must be currently enrolled in a college degree program and eligible to earn internship credit. Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to: view archival footage, catalog the material, digitize it, and upload it for storage and broadcast (both on-air and online).

Knowledge of contemporary Caribbean music (Reggae, Soca, Dancehall, Reggaeton) would be extremely useful. Our fast-paced, growing international media company offers encouragement for initiative, and many opportunities for growth.

Programming Interns

TEMPO Networks, the Caribbean Television and Multimedia Network, is seeking Programming interns. Applicants must be currently enrolled in a college degree program and eligible to earn internship credit. A major in Broadcasting, Journalism, or Communication is preferred. Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to: corresponding via phone, fax and E-mail with listeners, updating music libraries, ordering music and products, compiling play lists and marketing events such as contests, concerts or media campaigns. Applicants must possess excellent communication skills and the ability to thrive in a fast paced environment. Must be organized, self motivated, energetic and a dependable team player.

Production Interns

TEMPO Networks, the Caribbean Television and Multimedia Network, is seeking diligent, motivated, and focused interns to assist with Production. Applicants must be currently enrolled in a college degree program and eligible to earn internship credit. Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to: administrative, logging and digitizing, researching, and video maintenance. Interns will work directly with members of the Production Department and assisting with daily projects and operations.

Applicants should have experience with Final Cut, After Effect, Live Type and Microsoft Office.

Graphic Design Intern

TEMPO Networks, the Caribbean Television and Multimedia Network, is seeking a graphic design intern. Applicants must be currently enrolled in a college degree program and eligible to earn internship credit. Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Assisting with the re-design of the website, designing promotional materials and assisting with administrative projects. Applicants should have a concept of the print/distribution process including design, layout, photo editing, copy-editing and research of printing and distribution methods.

Administrative Intern

TEMPO Networks, the Caribbean Television and Multimedia Network, is seeking an Administrative Intern to assist the various departments of the company in its daily operations. Applicants must be currently enrolled in a college degree program and eligible to earn internship credit. Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Maintain office files and databases, Order office supplies In addition to hands on experience, interns will have enviable exposure to our programming and production departments.

Potential applicants must possess strong communication and customer service skills in addition to substantial computer and organizational skills. The ideal applicants should have a strong interest in the Caribbean entertainment and music industry, be a team player and eager to learn.

Advertising and Sales Intern

TEMPO Networks, the Caribbean Television and Multimedia Network, is seeking an Advertising/Marketing Intern to assist in fulfilling and maintaining on-air, online, and digital advertising inquiries. Applicants must be currently enrolled in a college degree program and eligible to earn internship credit. The intern is responsible for providing administrative support to the Advertising and Marketing department and helping to ensure the efficient day-to-day operation of TEMPO Networks. Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Update and maintain company advertising database, build and maintain relationships with current and potential advertisers and Provide creative input and ideas on projects.
