Dr. Nichole Simmons, life and wellness coach, takes us on an interactive journey to health and wellness through Yoga, Caribbean style. From Aruba, Dr. Simmons relates to the audience in a personal way, telling how she began practicing Yoga after experiencing a traumatic relationship.


The audience is taken on a Yoga journey that starts from the beginning, breaking down the basics of Yoga from stretching to posing and meditation. Then moves to more advanced poses and techniques. Dr. Simmons explains the importance and meaning behind each pose and movement so viewers are fully engaged, aware and become more knowledgeable.


Dr. Simmons teaches in a way that accommodates different experience levels, shapes and sizes. Beginners are given techniques to enhance their experience and get the most out of the exercises. More advanced viewers are also given challenging techniques and poses so they get the most out of their experience as well.


Speaking to the needs of the Caribbean audience, Dr. Simmons explores and teaches the importance of nutrition and eating healthy in connection with proper exercise. She also emphasizes the important tenets of Yoga and how they can be incorporated into the TEMPO Caribbean audiences lifestyle to make their lives more rich and meaningful. Those tenets include breathing, rest, recovery and meditation.
