International soca artist Wilt "Tallpree" Cambridge represents for the Spice Island, Grenada. A beautiful paradise known for its exotic spices, beaches and warm spirited people. This fiery dancehall-soca artist hails from the town of Vendomme, in the nations capital, St. George. He's been on the musical scene since 1989, but it was not until his 1999 hit "Old Woman Alone", that he became widely recognized as one of Grenada's leading artiste. His perseverance and dedication to his talents as an entertainer began to flourish. Tallpree went from performing at any venue where he was able to touch the mic, to being welcomed to big stage events throughout the Caribbean, the US, Canada and the U.K.
Since 1999, Tallpree has been coming year after year with hit after hit. He is well known for his reoccurring theme relating to Grenada Carnival festivities, especially jouvert. Tallpree represents for the Jab Jab posse straight through, each and every year. Some of his best works include, 2000's "The Grave, The Jail and The Hospital", 2002's "Jab Jab Crew" featuring Bajan Soca Queen Alison Hinds, 2003's "Carnival Madness", and of course his most recent international Carnival phenomenon, 2009's "Wicked Jab". Tallpree remains one of the soca greats being crowned Soca Monarch king a numerous amount of times, and we have a feeling that it doesn't stop here.
